ULTRAVIOLET
Science has proved ‘Sunlight’ is good for disinfection by its
Ultraviolet Rays, the natural way of purification. UV radiated in the
Electro-magnetic Spectrum between the range of 100-400nm. wave-length is
invisible. The UV radiation at a level of 253.7nm. wavelength possess
the maximum germicidal effectiveness by penetrating the cell membranes
and destroy DNA modules. This prevents cell replication.
Disinfection by UV technology is excellent because it achieves near cent
percent water purity without any side effect. It is economical and cost
effective, safe and convenient. It has no impact on pH, taste and odour;
neither any chemical is required nor formation of toxic components as
bye-product. These factors have made UV purification technology superior
to Chlorination and Ozonation.
